House Buddy is an iPhone app for tracking houses you find on Zillow, Redfin, and Trulia. Paste any listing URL and the app pulls in the price, photos, beds, baths, open houses, and address. Save the houses you like, plan tour days, share with your partner or clients, and ask Kasa anything about home buying.

Most of the app works offline once a house is saved. You need a connection to scrape a new listing or to load the map, but everything you have already added — including your photos, notes, voice memos, and schedule — works fully offline.

No. House Buddy has no account system. Your data lives on your iPhone and syncs through your own iCloud account. The developer has no way to see your saved listings or notes.

From the Settings tab, create a team, then tap Invite. House Buddy generates an iCloud share link you can text, email, or AirDrop to the person you want to share with. Both of you keep your own copies of the data; everything inside a shared team syncs through Apple's CloudKit, with no House Buddy server in the middle.

Your invitee needs to be signed into iCloud on their iPhone and tap Accept on the system prompt. New team data shows up automatically.

Zillow, Redfin, and Trulia all use anti-bot defenses that occasionally block requests even from real browsers. If a single listing fails, wait a minute and tap Refresh, or try opening the URL in Safari first to see if the listing is still public.

If a category of listings (for example, every Trulia URL) stops loading, the site may have restructured their pages — contact us at support@housebuddy.app and we will push a fix.

Zillow lazy-loads open-house details after the page renders, and the schedule sometimes hasn't arrived by the time the app finishes reading. If you see a "Add date" prompt, tap it and use the manual open-house editor — that entry behaves exactly like a scraped one in the Schedule tab and on the Map.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by House Buddy. Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your Apple ID at the top, then Subscriptions, then House Buddy, then Cancel Subscription. You will keep your Pro features until the current billing period ends, and your saved data stays put — you just fall back to the Free caps.

Buyer Pro has Family Sharing on, so members of your Apple Family group inherit the entitlement at no extra cost. Realtor Pro is per-account only because the branded profile is per-realtor.

If iCloud Drive is on for House Buddy, your data restores automatically the first time you launch House Buddy on the new device and sign into the same iCloud account. Give it a minute on the first launch — the initial sync downloads every house, photo, and voice memo.

If you turned iCloud off, you can use the iCloud Drive backup file House Buddy exports under Settings > Backup & Restore (Buyer Pro and Realtor Pro tiers).

The app itself works in every region the App Store ships to. Listing scrapers only target Zillow, Redfin, and Trulia, which are US-focused. International coverage will follow once we have the target regions and a corresponding listing source.

House Buddy is iPhone-first today. It runs on iPad in compatibility mode and the layouts adapt reasonably, but the screens are tuned for iPhone. A proper iPad layout and a native Mac app are on the roadmap once iPhone is stable.
